Hrithik Roshan, who was named as the Most Handsome Man in the
World by a US-based agency, also saw success at the box office. His film 'Super
30', which saw him reprising the role of mathematician Anand Kumar was liked by
the audience as well as the critics. The movie showcased the struggles faced by
Anand Kumar, who decided to educate children who didn’t have the means to do so
to appear for entrance tests of various educational institutions. For his role
as a man based in Bihar, Hrithik learned the right accent. The Bollywood actor,
who is often referred to as the Greek God for his looks, underwent a physical
transformation, too. Hrithik recently revealed that taking up 'Super 30' was a
difficult decision. Before the film, Hrithik’s film, 'Mohenjo Daro', had failed
at the box office. Therefore, picking 'Super 30', which wasn’t a safe bet, was
a courageous decision. When the actor heard the script, he knew that it wasn’t
mainstream film. But Hrithik, who calls himself a curious soul, wanted to go on
this adventure. In another interview, he admitted that he didn’t come on board
for 'Super 30', because of the social message it imparted. The actor signed up
for it because he felt that it was a great script. Hrithik is willing to do a
film if the script is entertaining. After sporting a de-glam avatar, the actor
will be at his handsome best in 'Raw' that sees him battling it out with Tiger
Shroff.

Teacher's day makes us nostalgic of our
school days filled with bitter-sweet memories. It reminds us of some of the
fondest memories, shared with our teachers, that we want to relive today.
Scoldings and punishments have made us what
we are today and to be honest, there's nothing that we would want to change
about it. Even though we can't go back to those days, we can relish those
memories through films.
In a bid to showcase such strong bonds
between teachers and students, Bollywood has made an array of movies that take
us back to our good old days.
Here's the list of seven Bollywood movies
that have created a significant impact on our lives and will take us on a trip
down the memory lane.
1. Super 30
If you haven't watched this movie yet, today
is the day to watch it. Based on the life of Patna-based brilliant
mathematician Anand Kumar, portrayed by Hrithik Roshan, the movie revolves
around him running the famed Super 30 program for IIT aspirants in Patna for
underprivileged children. The film showcases the battles he had to fight to
ensure that the kids get the right kind of education.
Anand Kumar is determined to enable his students
crack the IIT exam and get to the top. The film is directed by Vikas Bahl.
2. Hichki
The movie revolves around a woman, played by
Rani Mukherji, who has Tourette's syndrome and is a teacher at an elite school.
She soon tries to do whatever she can to make her rebellious and troublemaking
students realize their full potential. Helmed by Siddharth Malhotra, the film
showcases a strong bond between the teacher and her students, who belong to the
economically weaker section of the society.

High School in Andheri East, Mumbai. While his class-mates bring their very own
Tiffin-boxes, Stanley does not do so on the pretext that his mother is away,

Teacher, Babubhai Verma, who not only cajoles fellow-teachers but virtually
forces children to share their food with him.
Watch what impact this has on Stanley,
teachers, and his classmates. Directed by Amole Gupte, the film stars Amole
Gupte himself, Partho Gupte, and Divya Dutta in pivotal roles.

their students. The movie, starring Rani Mukherjee and Amitabh Bacchan as
her teacher, does not showcase a regular student-teacher relationship. The

student. As the movie progresses, he is seen instilling confidence in Rani
Mukherjee, who suffers from blindness. The film is directed by Sanjay Leela
Bhansali.
5. Chalk N Duster
Chalk N Duster highlights the problem of
communication between teachers and students. It focuses on the ever changing
ways of teaching in today's education system.
It revolves around an emotional journey of
two teachers Vidya (Shabana Azmi) and Jyoti (Juhi Chawla), who serve at a
Mumbai–based high school. The film showcases the teachers' passion and love for
the occupation and how they develop a special relationship with their students.
Their only gratification is watching the students soar high while keeping their
moral values in check. Helmed by Jayant Gilatar, the film stars Shabana Azmi,
Divya Dutta among others.
